Time Management

Strategies that increase your efficiency, make you more effective, and free up time for the things that really count include goal-setting, planning and scheduling, and the self-discipline to control technology, say no and maintain focus. These are the basics that I have been teaching in my time management workshops.

Another time management tips is to set up time limits on your tasks. Be strict in finishing all your tasks within the time allotted. This will surely harness your skills and time management. Remember, stick to the rules.


This can be sometimes going to be time, cash or effort. Typically you’ll need to use at least one of those to move towards your goals. When learning time management skills this is often a step that folks miss out. The most common is that people begin a new project and find they do not have enough time to complete it.


Since then, I have become aware of the principles of time management. I’ve learned that if you don’t manage your time wisely, then it will manage you. Any time you want to accomplish anything great and keep your head above water, learning to manage your time will make all the difference in the world.


On that particular day, I knew that time management was the subject, but I was busy. I had homework to do, test to study for, and papers to write. So in my mind, my time was better managed by working on those important things. Being a little late to the convocation wouldn’t hurt anything… as long as I got the credit I needed.


The good news is that with proper time management, you can learn to overcome the problem of procrastination. Once you do, you can make it work for you in all areas of your life- work, home, personal and more. You will then find that you are more successful in everything you do and you will also have more time for doing the things you enjoy.
